Who is this support group for?
This group is designed for parents of children from 1 to 3 years of age.
Why design a group specifically for toddler parents?
The toddler age is an age where many parents feel confusion on how to respond to their children’s tantrums and “big feelings” and feel like they’re responding in the “wrong” ways. The goal of this 6-week session is to create a platform that allows parents who attend to meet like-minded parents with similarly aged kids in the community while learning developmentally appropriate, research- based strategies when interacting with their 1-3 year old children.
What will participants learn?
Over the course of 6 weeks, participants will have a chance to reflect on the ways they were parented and confront generational patterns when assessing their values/ priorities as a parent. Participants will learn the principles of conscious parenting and how they relate specifically…
